WORKSHOPS

With over 25 years experience, initially in front of the camera, and now behind, it’s fair to say I have learned a few things. I don’t believe in “professional secrets”, or “the magic sauce” of post-processing, whatever I know (and do myself), I’m more than happy to share.

Below are outlines of the current workshops and seminars, and more will follow over time.

I look forward to meet you soon at one of my workshops.

The Basics of Photography

How often have you looked at a scene, but just couldn’t do it justice with your camera? How many times did you wonder what all those dials on your camera really mean? What does “A” do better than “P”, should I try “M”, and what is ISO?

It is all much easier than you think! In this class you will learn the basic principals in easy to understand terms, which will help you not only to know what setting to chose in what situation, but to overall improve your photography dramatically.

In this 3 hour seminar, we talk about Light & Shadow, Aperture, Shutterspeed & ISO, getting the colours right, Flash & Sunlight, Composition and Post Processing.

Crash Course for Photo-Models

Beauty alone does not
create great pictures!

If you are a young and aspiring model, you have to know the absolute basics for photographic modelling. In this 3 hour seminar, you will learn the “do’s and don’t's” of professional modelling, what to expect on a professional shoot, basic posing tips, as well as tips on creating your portfolio.

To finish the class off, we will talk about modelling agencies (the good, the bad and the ugly), as well as online forums and the legal side of modelling.
